Nilesh Jaiswal, holds a Masters degree in Pharmacy with Pharmaceutics as specialization, from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. He is a Pharmaceutical R&D professional with than 22+ years of dedicated R&D experience coming from renowned & esteemed Pharmaceutical and Consumer healthcare companies. He has held leadership positions in R&D at country and regional levels, from past ten years and his key research contributions are especially generic product development, life cycle management of consumer healthcare drug products (OTC) and developing novel drug delivery dosages/systems (especially lipid based). In his previous roles, he has been predominately responsible for generic product development intended for US & European markets, especially complex generics.He has served his leadership at various global positions in companies like Jubilant, GSK, Novartis, Reckitt, Sanofi, Dr. Reddys lab and Matrix laboratories.He has around more than 10 granted patents, as being a parent inventor, because of his extensive work in NDDS formulations.
He is uniquely experienced in guiding, on how best to navigate the challenges of generic product development of complex and NDDS projects. He has formulation development experience in vivid dosage forms (especially including Soft gels and Metered dose nasal sprays), & has hands-on led key challenging projects working with different organizations.He has not only limited his contributions to industrial research projects, but has also extended his intellect, by providing inputs on many research topics, as and when requested by CDSCO, India.
